Games to 15 points
Registration starts August 16th at 8:00 AM
There will be a new format. Week 1 court assignment will be based on random draw, not skill level; weeks 2-6 court assignment will be based on wins and cumulative points. This format gives you consistency over who you partner with every week as well as your success is based on wins and cumulative points versus "climbing a ladder".
You must be an active KTPA member to register.
Find your Teammate and let's have some Pickleball fun. We have limited spots, so if you are traveling or not able to play most of the games (will miss more than one week...) for this league, please do not register so someone else can play.
There will be 32 Mixed Doubles Teams, create your team and register starting August 16th @8:00am by emailing: ktpickleballleague@gmail.com (emails before 8am will not be processed) Both players' names and contact information (full name, email, cell number) need to be submitted as part of the registration.
We will be creating a Sub list, so if you want to be a Sub, please register providing your name, contact info (email, cell number) and gender. Ideally, we will have 16 men and 16 women registered subs.
Teams
- Make your team, 1 male and 1 female
- If needed, find your own Sub from the list provided. *Note: The use of a Sub will limit the team score up to 8 points per game.
CS
Format
- 16 courts, quad play format (3 games per night), first to score 15 points wins
- Tie resolution: coin toss or doubles or singles (skinny or full court) first to 5 points
- Match ups
- Week 1: start with random court assignment
- Week 2-6: teams will be seeded based on wins and cumulative points
- Overall Winning Mixed Double Team will be determined by most wins (18 games total). In the case of a tie, the following rules will apply:
- Cumulative points
- Play-off game to 15 (if required)
